Policy and procedures book

Section 1 Membership
Membership dues are effective January 1st of each year, per CASC by-laws, with the following policies.

     A.     All members are required to attend one meeting per year to stay active.

     B.     All memberships are considered lapsed if dues are not received by the club secretary or  post
              marked by March 1st. Thus making the lasped member a new applicant.

     C.     All new applicants for membership must be present at a meeting to introduce themselves
             before they will be voted on by the present membership. *Or have a sponcer to stand in for
             them at a meeting who is already a club member and who can introduce you to the membership.

Section 2  show site regulations:
     A. All dogs must be on a leash or confined to a crate at all times except during competition. 

     B. Dogs must be on leash to and from parking area to show ring / grooming area.

     C. Dogs that are on a grooming table must be attended at all times. 

     D. All dogs must be current on Rabies Vaccinations, and proof must be available for inspection by the show committee.
     E. Any owners not in compliance with these regulations will be asked to leave the grounds.  No refund of any event fees will be given.

Section 3 Hiring of Judges
Each show secretary is responsible to hire a conformation and obedience /show-n-go Judge with the
following policies.

      A.    CASC will use the following rates for payment of our Judges.
                   1. Mileage:  under 50 miles   $25. 00             Over 50 miles    $50.00

                   2. Flight:  CASC will pay a round trip flight in coach for Judges who need to be flown in.
                       a. CASC will provide transportation to and from the airport to hotel to show grounds.
                       b. Cost to and from their home to airport will be paid at a reasonable rate.

     B.     CASC will cover the cost of one nights stay at a motel in the following circumstances
                   1.  Judge is from over 100 miles away or,
                   2.  Judge has to be flown in or,
                   3.  Judge judges Obedience one day and Conformation the next day.

     C.       CASC will pay  $10 a meal,  up to $30.00 a day for food.

     D.    When a judge is hired a contract out lining our policy for payment of services must be signed.
                   1.   If a judge has their own contract that exceeds our set  limits, it must go before the board
                         for  approval first.

     E.     Show-n-go Judges do not need to be an ASCA approved Judge,  however they must know
             and understand the rules of Obedience competition.

Section 4    Cash Box
A cash box is provided at each show with the following policies.

   A.      The Cash Box is started with a $200.00 till prior to each show

   B.      Only the show secretary and entry takers are allowed in the cash box.

  C.      Only day of expences will be paid out of the cash box, all others need
            to be directed to the Club Treasure

   D.     A form is provided for all money transactions with the following procedures
                  1.     The form must be initialed each time a transaction occurs
                  2.     Show secretary is responsible for the form to be filled out properly
                  3.     The form is turned into the Club Treasure after each show.
